Installing Docker on Windows

A Docker container image is a lightweight, standalone, executable package of software that includes everything needed to run an application: code, runtime, system tools, system libraries and settings.

Go to and click on Docker CE (community Edition), main difference between Docker EE and Docker CE is that Docker CE is free 🙂





Click on Docker Community Edition for Windows




If not,create account first, the click Please Login to Download.





Download setup file and run it, in Hyper-V feature is not enabled, Setup will ask you to enable it.
